...brownie pizza at 10am!...

I've lost my mind...I got the kids two slices of brownie pizza with whipped cream at 10am this morning!...2 Chicks Coffee Shop's slushies weren't frozen..ugh...they are on a major sugar high...should be great shopping with them this morning...they'll crash while were in line to pay for something...

...another great sunny day..surprisingly...three in a row for us...

....I'm working on a new painting of my new character and a seagull on the beach...it's coming together really nicely...love the colours...very beachy....and relaxed...not as much craziness going on...yet...will post soon...over and out...

...we're back up north....

...back playing in the sand...we built a volleyball court and had a tremendous beach day...the waves were so large and strong that Jack lost his bathing suit...first time ever...it was quite the scene....kite sailors were out today..the wind was excellent for them...really cool how they fly through the air and skim so quickly across the lake...it was awesome to see...

...back home...missed it...

...we're home...kids are at hockey camp, they'll have a ball....I'm in the studio getting canvasses ready to paint...Supertramp is loud in the background...no distractions...however, I'm missing the sound of the waves...funny...but of course the sun is out at the cottage and it's warm and we're not there...the Bender's have left and the warm weather has appeared...always the way...

...sitting in a parking lot...

well...I'm desperate...I'm sitting in a parking lot stealing someone's wireless connection...what artist's will do to get work done!....I'm working on some new paintings which I'm quite happy with...the lemons look terrific...smooth pudding like paint...and the cats are very humourous...I think they will be a great addition to the studio tour this October...

..blustery day...

..isn't that a Winnie the Pooh story?...well we had it...trees are down in our front yard...ripped the hydro right off of my lovely old house...and I'm not there to mend it...I'm basking in the sun...my poor guy has to handle it...which I may say that he has done a tremendous job...he's taking the Town to task....the claim is in....and my fridges are bare...hoping they are clean as well...I'll see the damage when I get back home on Sunday....

..we also just finished our big weekend of fun in the sand with our buddies from Town...the best ever I think...too many laughs and giggles...thank you...

...a great day!

so...the lake is calm and the sky is blue...no grey!...we're heading to the sand to create castles, swim and catch some Zzzzz's...we're exhausted....the banana tent will be popped and the towels will be really wet after some swimming!

....scary stuff... a bear was just a few cottages down the road from us last night having a midnight snack....he went to two places for his dinner....yikes!

...the painting began today...

...painting was great today...five started...some sun made for a few breaks pickin' white round rocks...haven't hit the groove yet...it will come with some nice hot weather....crossing toes and fingers for some warmer weather tomorrow...

..another day at the beach...

...rather terrible weather...sometimes you can see your breath....however we're making the best of it...we're playing on the cafe's computers right now..the kids are loving that...and the brownie pizzas are pretty tasty...puzzles are getting put together, movies are being watched...we watched "he's not that into you" last night...I rated it as OK...another favourite is the two strawberry pies that we have almost eaten...yummy....so to another grey day we say "rats"...and hope for sun real soon....
